Albin 35 Command Bridge, the large cockpit and roomy interior of the Albin 35 Command Bridge—combined with her efficient single-diesel propulsion—offers something different in the world of sportfishing boats. Like her predecessor, the 35 CB is an unusual looking boat with a low-profile bridgedeck barely chest-high above the cockpit. Tuna tubes, built-in bait tank, 16 and 12' Simrad screens, auto pilot. She is a fishing machine!
The upside of this design is easy helm access, especially important for singlehandling (no more 7-foot ladder to climb up and down as required on a typical flybridge boat). Another plus are the very wide sidedecks, a safety feature seldom found on modern boats.
Two single-level floorplans were offered in the 35 Command Bridge: The more popular single-stateroom plan has a queen berth forward and a stall shower in the head, while a so-called “tri-cabin” layout has V-berths forward and a guest stateroom with over/under single berths. The teak and holly cabin sole is a nice touch.
Cockpit features include two in-deck fish boxes, transom livewell, wet bar with sink, and transom door. A full-length keep protects the running gear.
Cruise at 16 knots (low 20s top) with a single 370hp Yanmar diesel.
