Commerically-coded and recently refitted/updated yr2000 model Beneteau First 47.7 with fantastic performance cruising/racing specification.




ANOTHER FIVE is a commercially-coded yr2000 model Beneteau First 47.7 with Performance rig and deep lead keel. Extensively refitted in the past two seasons, and with a runner-up result in the 2019 Portuguese ORC Nationals in the hands of sailing academy students, ANOTHER FIVE is now set up perfectly for both racing and fast cruising. RCD Status:

  • The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean” with a maximum of 10 people aboard.


Hull Construction:

  • The single-skinned hull is GRP and glass fibre construction with balsa stringers.
  • A structural inner moulding is bonded to the hull. Its structural role is important as it takes and absorbs the stresses at pressure points (chain plate tie rods, keel, rudder, etc.) and spreads any loads, guaranteeing reduced strain on the hull.
  • The surface of the inner moulding makes cleaning easier and provides a better finish.
  • White gelcoat topsides finish.
  • “Speedy Carbonium da Veneziani” antifouling


Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • The deck is a sandwich (glass fibre, balsa, polyester resin) construction for an improved strength/weight ratio and optimal insulation.
  • All working and circulation areas of the deck are treated with ‘Picot’ non-slip coating.
  • An inner moulding is bonded to the deck interior to improve its finish.
  • Flexi-Teak laid cockpit sole and cockpit seating – 2018
  • The hull/deck joint is formed by an unvarnished teak toerail, bonded and screwed in position. This assembly technique ensures water-tightness of the hull/dec


Keel & Rudder:

  • Deep draft ORC-optimised 2.8m lead keel
  • The keel is fixed to the hull with a system of stainless steel screws and backing plates.
  • Under-hung rudder with glass fibre and vinylester composite stock.
  • Rudder bearings replaced 2019




Engine & gearbox:

  • Volvo TMD22 4-cylinder turbo-charged 77hp diesel engine
  • Shaft driven
  • Fresh­water cooled engine.
  • Single lever engine control.
