Yanmar 3QM30 3 cylinder, 30 hp diesel engine with single lever control, Velvet Drive hydraulic transmission, Borg-Warner v-drive and Gori geared folding propeller. Engine starts and runs well.
Boat cruises easily under power. A Racor external fuel filter complements the engine fuel filter. The water pump is fitted with a SpeedSeal cover that can be removed by hand for easy maintenance. Common engine spares included.
Operation at night is facilitated by newer LED running lights forward, a masthead LED running light / anchor light with photocell, foredeck light, spreader lights, steaming and transom lights, and illuminated Windex.
Ground tackle consists of a 45 lb. Kingston plow anchor, approx. 220 feet of H-T chain and Lofrans 1000 electric rope/chain windlass with handheld and cockpit controls.
T-shaped cockpit with helm saddle provides secure seating for six on newer cockpit cushions, with a full canvas enclosure to keep out the elements. Matching mainsail cover and mast boot complete the look.

Entering the cabin through the companion way we arrive in the aft cabin with a long double quarterberth to port and a single quarterberth to starboard. A fold-down chart table, book rack, clock and barometer are in this cabin. A door provides privacy for the aft cabin.
Moving forward we have the enclosed private head with shower on starboard. The galley opposite on port is equipped with a gimballed 3-burner propane stove with oven, a voluminous fridge with freezer compartment and large extra-deep double sink with stainless steel counter top and plentiful storage. Refrigeration is Iso-Therm SP (self-pumping) pump-less water cooled system. In addition to hot and cold running pressure water, a foot pump provides drinking water through an under-counter filter with separate faucet.
Forward of the head on starboard is a storage area with countertop and outboard hanging locker.
The saloon has full length settees port and starboard, both suitable as berths. A lee cloth on the starboard settee provides for secure rest while at sea. The dining table has two drop leafs with storage in the center. Dinner for six people is comfy, and the current owners have hosted dinner parties for as many as 11 adults.
The vee berth forward has a door for privacy, hanging locker to starboard and storage to port. Shelves run forward the full length of the bunk, with storage compartments below. A large hatch admits fresh air and moonlight, and can be used to enter or exit the vee-berth. The cabin is fitted with five opening hatches, four fixed fans and updated lighting. Bug nets for the hatches to keep out insects.
Four distinctive cowl ventilators with teak boxes on deck provide plenty of fresh area in wet conditions, and a solar powered vent keeps air moving when the boat is closed up. Rounded corners and plenty of handholds, including overhead make for secure movement inside while under way.

Newer (2018) Dual Rolls AGM batteries provide a huge 460 Amp-hours of storage, plus a separate 100 Amp-hour spare AGM battery.
Charging is via engine alternator controlled by an Ample Technology regulator, or from shore power through a Xantrex 30 Amp charger or from (2018) 2x50 Watt solar panels with a smart charger and remote status panel.
Built-in digital voltmeter and a comprehensive electrical control panel give complete control over electrical energy. Shore power is 120 Volts, 30 Amp service, 50+25 feet marine cable. Reverse polarity indicator on panel. Four separate 15 A circuits.
Electronics include a Standard Horizon CO390i chartplotter, Icom IC-M302 VHF DSC radio (connected to the GPS for position data), Simrad WP-32 autopilot and Garmin instrument set - gWind, knotlog, depth, temperature and GMI-20 display.
Entertainment includes: a 25" flatscreen TV with built in DVD player and HDMI input. Sony stereo with cabin and cockpit speakers. Bluetooth adapter for the stereo. Lots of places to charge devices.
Hot and cold pressure water available in the galley and the head. The Force 10 hot water tank uses either engine heat or shore power. Shower sump pump in the head. A powerful, 70 PSI 6 GPM washdown pump makes deck cleanup with lake water a breeze.
A custom steel six pad cradle and a newer custom Genco winter cover and frame keep the boat secure and free of snow and ice when on the hard.
