Makani Kai III is a 57’ plywood/fiberglass catamaran rigged as a masthead cutter/sloop with twin Yanmar motors. The vessel went through a major overhaul in 2007 and is currently in great shape. Makani Kai III has been lightly used in Kona by the same owner since the refit. The current owner runs the biggest dry-dock operation in Kona and is constantly providing upkeep and care to keep the boat in excellent condition.
