1940 Gar Wood 1516m

This beautiful boat is an original 1940 Gar Wood model 151.  This is hull number 78, of the 119 built that year. The chrysler Marine engine is the workhorse flathead 6 that was in production from 1938 until 1962. The floor has been replaced but otherwise the boat is original.  It is a two owner boat!   The boat runs  and rides great and is water tight.  It has always been a freshwater boat and well cared for.  It gets new varnish every year, and normal engine maintenance.   Current owner has added the Bimini top which can be removed. There is no trailer for the boat, but transportation can be arranged.
