19ft Hamble One Design by Luke and Co, 1913, with recent re-fit , re-paint and varnish. A very pretty day sailer.
Built in 1913 (28th February 1913). Carvel wooden construction of Oregon Pine with fore, aft and side decks, keel stepped wooden mast, long iron ballast keel, blue painted topsides and grey marine ply decks. Mahogany transom recently replaced, recently re-caulked. Internal lead ballast.

"Alert" benefits from a recent refit - a new mahogany transom, a new keelson, new keel bolts and several new planks were works carried out in her previous ownership. In 2021 she was completely painted internally, completely re-caulked, two new planks fitted (Larch) and painted externally job, all spars and internal fittings re varnished - new wooden larch sole boards and internal lead ballast fitted.
