Built: 1973, Djupviks Varv shipyard, Sweden. Rebuilt and modernized 1985-86 at Marinteknik, Sweden and again in 1988 at Djupviks Varv.

Transduktor 827B 20A/24V battery charger, Transductor 180 B 50A/24V battery charger, Elmco 045 4A/12V battery charger, Leab LPC 248 emergency battery charger, Luna E3 12A/24V batteriladdare, Elmco Type 0454A/12V batteriladdare. 1.4 A radio battery inverter. DPV 4-130 8.5 bar and 80 l/min fire/bilge pump, Desmi S-80-70-220-A09 500 l/min fire/bilge pump, 400 l/min fire/bilge pump on SB main engine, Foke fire/bilge pump, 2 x transfer pumps. Portable 2 bHp air compressor.
Fuel consumption: About 200 litres per hour at 17 knots/1,700 rpm. Top speed 21 knots.

Deck equipment: Palfinger PK 5200 S marine crane, lifts 2.800 kg/1.8 meters with 1.100 kg wire winch, new 1990. Hydraulic anchor winch with 2 tons bollard pull and an 80 kg anchor on 90 mtrs of 13 mm chain. 17 kg spare anchor on 7 meters of 10 mm chain. 2 x Noak HS 200 DS 100W searchlight, 2 x Noak HS 260 DS 250 Watts searchlight, 2 x Aqua Signal 500 W floodlights.

Safety equipment: 3 x 50 litres Inergen fire suppressant in engine room and 1 x 50 litres in generator room. Autronica BX9A fire alarm central, 15 smoke and heat detektors, Power, foam and CO2 fire extinguishers, 9 in total. BEI LC-1024-01 lantern central, Amplidan A35 intercom, 1 x Viking 6Dk SOLAS A life raft, Flygt Bilbo 220 V portable bilge pump, 2 x Sailor SP 3110 handheld GMDSS VHFs.

General arrangement: Wheelhouse with two seats in fore, in aft workstations for radio operator and navigator. The space below wheelhouse contains electronics, gyro and emergency batteries. Deckhouse contains a saloon in fore with 6-8 table seats, aft of which is a galley with stove/oven, fridge/freezer and coffee maker. Below deck in aft peak is the generator and steering gear room, followed by a small workshop, engineer's cabin and a WC with shower, engine room, four single cabins, one single cabin, WC with shower, double cabin and the fore peak store room. 8 berths in total. Flybridge with two steering position, SB side has quick steering, Teletronic engine controls, depth and rudder indicators and rev counter. On port side an additional steering joystick, engine controls and rudder indicator.

Classification: As a state ship no classification required. Had GMDSS A1-A2 certificates but currently needs some additional equipment to uphold same. Current certificates include compass and life raft, crane and lifting gear. Hull and shaft surveys and stability booklet available as well as extensive drawing material. Latest dry-docking and hull survey was carried out in March 2009.
